Jordan Brand celebrates Detroit! Two 18 started out in 2004 & has grown to become Detroit's go-to sneaker/streetwear boutique. When presented with an opportunity to design their own AJ2, Two 18 put their hometown, local community & history front & centre.
The Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 utilises an unquestionably "Detroit" colorway, a city renowned for its workwear. Subtle details are all over: from the rarely seen nubuck & textured suede on the upper, to the tortoise shell eyelets, leather inside, city map insoles, custom shoe box, & semi-translucent outsole. The outsole is of particular note - going from brown to clear, representing the tragic water crisis in Flint since 2014 & its ongoing recovery.
Two 18 has created a truly one of a kind AJ2. Full of substance & history, while keeping it fashion forward. Detroit should be proud!
